The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Roger Binny clarified that he was not part of the team that issued a statement supporting the ongoing wrestlers' protest on Friday, June 2. The 1983 World Cup-winning cricket team members came out in support of protesting wrestlers by saying they feel 'distressed and disturbed' but Binny, the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, has distanced himself from the group, saying sports should not be mixed with politics.
